20. Lady Gaga - Bloody Mary: I wasn't sure if this song would have made the Top 20 and I'm a little surprised it did but I don't mind it. I do really like this and enough so to give it a #38 ranking. It's a fun song from Lady Gaga though far from one of my favorites from her. It's cool how Wednesday revived this song (or maybe it was Tik Tok that did this, which Golden Bluebird mentioned). Also it's impressive how this only got two Bottom 30 ranks.

19. Taylor Swift - Lavender Haze: I was wondering when this was going to show up as I figured and hoped this would be Taylor's next song to show up. I do really like this song a lot and think it has a light, cool and breezy feel to it. I do really like this enough to give it a #27 ranking. It's my least favorite song of Taylor's to be on this list but that's nothing bad as I am a fan of all of her songs here. Yay for no Bottom 15 ranks for this.

18. SZA - Snooze: Yayy another song that I do really like and have actually grown to love recently. This is one of those songs that continues to grow on me, despite how long it's been out. But I think it's just recently clicked with me. I originally had it a little lower but pushed it up to #22. This is just so smooth and so good from SZA. Yayy for no Bottom 20 ranks for this song.

17. Fifty Fifty - Cupid: This is a really fun, cute and adorable song that has also grown on me overtime the more I heard this. I do really like this song and enough so to give it a #42 ranking. It's cute, fun and infectious. But this also did much better than I ever imagined it to do. :o

16. Harry Styles - As It Was: I do actually love this song but I am also so beyond tired of this and it's much more of a 2022 song for me. So yeah for all of those reasons, I did rank this a little lower than I would have with giving it a #35 ranking. I do think it's a great, fun and catchy song from Harry. But it's still not one of my very favorites from him and yeah was still just so overplayed (which usually doesn't bother me but it does with this song lol).

15. Zach Bryan - Something In the Orange: Whoaaa.... 5 #1s for this song is really impressive and something I did not expect to see, as well as all of those Top 10 ranks. :o Wow lots of love for this song that I didn't see coming (and I didn't get to follow 2022's YE rankdown). It's a nice song and I can get the appeal of it. But it's just alright and doesn't really stand out to me - hence the #74 ranking. I'm just glad this showed up and didn't make Top 10, lol.

14. Miguel - Sure Thing: Dangg it, I ranked this at #13.... this couldn't have waited to show up just one more spot so I could have had a perfect ranking? Ughh. :'( Anywho, I did like this song when it was out originally but didn't think much of it. It was crazy to see how this blew up out of nowhere in 2023. But hearing it much more made me love and really connect with this song. It's such a smooth and great song from Miguel.

13. PinkPantheress & Ice Spice - Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2: Overall, I'm pleased with this making it to the Top 20 as I ranked this at #19, also within my Top 20. But with the remaining songs left, I was rooting for this to make it further and in the Top 10. But this is a really cute, fun and enjoyable song that has grown on me quickly. It's interesting how this song got no rankings in the 80s but then three in the 90s.

12. Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For?: My second lowest ranked song, which is my #49, so I will certainly take this reveal here. I am also a bit surprised this didn't make it to the Top 10 but I'm not disappointed. This is a very pretty and moving song, but it's also a song that kinda bores me and doesn't really click with me, hence my lower ranking. It's still growing on me and I do like it. Just not huge on it like most people are with it.

11. Wham! - Last Christmas: Aww I was really hoping this could have made it to the Top 10 based on the songs that are left. But this being an old Christmas song and coming in at #11 is reallly impressive. This is such a great song, such a classic and just so enjoyable. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs, though not sure where it would rank for me amongst Christmas songs. I ranked this at #25, although admitally as a song of its true own, I would have ranked it higher - but I wanted to help out the more current songs so I pushed this down some spots for that. It's nice that this didn't get any Bottom 10 ranks and also nice to see this get only 4 Bottom 40 rankings.

My closeness score is 21.99, which isn't too great but it's also not super terrible. I am glad I didn't lose any Top 10 reveals tonight - and yeah I felt sure that they would all make it to the Top 10. Ugh I'm still unable to get rid of my #78 but hopefully it goes early on of this Top 10.

20. This was always one of my favorite non-singles from Born This Way, so it was really cool to see this have such a huge resurgence!

19. One of my faves from Midnights, love the hazy production here (no pun intended lol).

16. This feels much more like a 2022 song, but definitely not mad that it's here again. Surprisingly, this never wore on me and I still love it just as much as the first time I heard it.

15. Idk, I just can't seem to get into Zach's singing style in any of his songs, hence my #60 ranking for this. "I Remember Everything" is a bit better than this for me, but that's mainly because of Kacey's beautiful vocals.

14. It was so cool to see this song get its moment this year. I've always liked it a lot, but it grew on me even more with the resurgence.

13. Such a fun track! Both artists have really nice chemistry with each other, and I like the remix even more than the original.

12. A very pretty ballad from Billie. This grew on me even more after hearing it within the context of the film.

11. Cool that this finally charted on the year-end list this year! The production has a really neat vibe to it, and it's always been one of my favorite Christmas songs. It would have been cool to see this make top 10 here, although I guess I can't complain that it didn't since this was my #15 haha.

Definitely rooting for those top 7 rankings. My last three aren't bad songs, I just have no connection to them. I do think the #81 is incredibly overhyped though- here's hoping that's the first one out.

I liked Bloody Mary a lot but there was better pop music this year tbh. If this was You And I on the other hand...
Lavender Haze is pretty good too. Not among my absolute favs from Midnights but still.
I was gonna say "atvl my wish that the second-best vibe song on the year-end makes the top 20 was fulfilled" but i forgot i actually put this above Calm Down lol. Anyways, this is far from the best song on SOS but vibes can make up for a lot.
Cupid and Boy's A Liar are both really good pop songs but this list was really strong so that's why they're lower than they probably should be lol.
Oh good this is gone, i mean i don't hate As It Was but i'm definitely not complaining it did worse than last time.
And my #1 is gone and also did worse than last time, atvl you let his other song make the top 10 but still...
Miguel's triad of 2013 hits clear this and this is still really good lol.

Honestly i'm very surprised this almost made the top 10 but it is a Christmas classic for a reason. Honestly the only thing i'm complaining about is the fact that my last minute boost for Dial Drunk cost me a perfect ranking for this.

Cruel Summer is an absolute favorite, but... If we go back to the chart on page 9 from reputainbow, it looks like the difference between #1 and #2 is really small, about maybe 40-50 points. So SZA or somebody else might have a chance to win.

Levitating won 2021 Rankdown by over 500 points. Good 4 U was 3rd. Good 4 U won the 2021 Pop Rankdown over Levitating. Levitating was also 3rd in the 2022 Rankdown. Different participants plus a bigger song list plus possible taste changes and ranking differences, the results can always change.

The fact that at a certain point in the movements, this could’ve missed the Top 10 against *Last Christmas* is crazy. It's hard to not compare Olivia's lead singles to each other, but I feel like this one is going to age a lot better than "Drivers License" over time. The buildup is just so good.
