Honestly wasn't sure if I should be doing this, since this is probably the first year since 2016-ish that I stopped following the Billboard charts (almost everything that got big after ~Jan/Feb I'm hearing for the first time for this rankdown). But I thought I might as well keep the streak going and use this as a chance to catch up. Feel free to let me know of any interesting trends or quirks in the charts that happened this year.

As for the music... seems like I picked a good year to sit out lol.

Baby Don’t Hurt Me is both better and worse than I’m good tbh. Which equals out to it basically getting the same rank for me lmao.

Telekinesis would’ve been decently high for me. Not among the best on Utopia but still.

Ngl, although "Baby Don't Hurt Me" is far inferior to the original, it's a big guilty pleasure lol. "Love Again" was a grower for me, although Dua Lipa definitely outsold.

love again is nice but probably wouldn't have been high at all for me

I have not revisited Slime You Out since i first listened to it lmao. I did remember liking it but it’s no surprise it got overshadowed by other, better songs from FATD.

I find it very funny that K-pop was such a flop it got outperformed by a album cut (Telekinesis) The song is kinda overhated though, it’s decent, though definitely a weaker cut on Utopia.

Slime You Out I really liked! I understand why some may not like it but it's still in rotation for me.

Travis' K-Pop is a mess, there was potential there but the hook is clunky and at times just completely undecipherable. I think I like each of the verses somewhat but none of them are strong enough to make up for the flat chorus.
