15. October London - "Back to Your Place:" Ahh dang this showed up a little too soon as I ranked this at #11... so just 4 spots too soon and shy of a perfect rank, lol. I didn't really know this song beforehand but I really liked this a lot. One of my favorite new discoveries here and glad that this made it to the Top 15.

14. Ledisi - "I Need to Know:" It's nice to see this song not have any Bottom 10 ranks, though oops at my #32 has me as the second lowest ranker. Not familiar with this one but it's okay to me.

13. Tems - "Free Mind:" I had a feeling this song would be polarizing as I could see this song having lots of high and low ranks - and my #43 being one of the lower ranks. So I am not too surprised at this having the 3rd highest SD. I'm just glad I'm not the lowest ranker. It takes awhile for Tems songs to grow on me and this hasn't done it for me yet, hence the low ranking. There are a lot of high rankings, which is impressive. Yay happy to clear out my Bottom 10!

12. Lizzo feat. SZA - "Special:" Oh dangg, of course as soon as I clear out my Bottom 10, then comes my #3. This always tends to happen to me, lmao. Dangg, sad to see this song just miss making the Top 10. I do love this song. I think this is a really nice and beautiful song. Love both the original and this remix - and with what both artists bring to the song. Happy for no Bottom 15 ranks here.

11. Tamar Braxton - "Changed:" While this isn't one of my very favorites from Tamar, I still do really like this song enough so to give it a #18 ranking. This is a very lovely song from her and she sounds great on it.

This is a pretty strong and solid Top 10! I love seeing all of Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé, Coco Jones, SZA and Janelle Monáe all represented here!

10. Ayra Starr x Kelly Rowland - "Bloody Samaritan:" This is my second lowest rank left, with this being my #21, so I'd say this is a pretty good way to start off this Top 10. I do really like this one but I just preferred most of the others so I'm good with this showing up.

9. Ciara x Summer Walker - "Better Thangs:" Ugh noooo, I was not ready to see this song show up yet. This is my #6 and I do really like this song a lot. A great and hot collabo from Ciara & Summer. This is another song I wish I had listened to more throughout the year as this is very good.

8. Phony Ppl - "Nowhere But Up:" This is my #15, so it's a song I am okay with showing up at this point but would have preferred losing something I ranked lower. I didn't know this but I did really enjoy this while listening to it on this rankdown. Yikes at this getting a #50. That is rough.

7. Coco Jones - "ICU:" Oh wow, I'm a little surprised I only ranked this at #10 as I thought I had put this in my Top 10, lmao. But I guess I happened to have liked or loved other songs more. But this is a great song from Coco. She has such a smooth, sultry and rich voice and she showcases that beautifully on this song. Very happy to see 11 Top 10 ranks & 5 #10s for this song. Pleased this made it to the Top 10 as it was kinda robbed in the other R&B 2023 year-end list.

6. Janelle Monáe - "Lipstick Lover:" When seeing the gif choice, I had a feeling this song was coming up. Ughh but nooo this is my #5 so of course I miss out on yet another perfect rank but just one spot. How sad and disappointing for me. :'( But this is great and I do really like this a lot. A sexy song and Janelle sells this really well.

5. The Shindellas - "Last Night Was Good for My Soul:" Ooh I was not expecting this song to rank this high and for it to have the lowest SD. This is my #20. I did really enjoy this and think this is a cute and fun song. Nice to see this doing so well as I could see this growing on me.

3. Ari Lennox - "Waste My Time:" lol when I saw that the #3 song's highest rank was #3, I just KNEW this song was coming up as the others are my Top 2. I really liked this song a lot, enough so for a #7. This is really nice and very good. Happy with how far this got but happy it didn't crack into the flawless Top 2.

2. Beyoncé - "CUFF IT:" Aww I was really hoping for "Cuff It" to get the #1, as it's clearly my #1, of course. A little disappointed as this song never seems to quite pull off the win in these rankdowns. But I am pleased to see this making it all the way to #2, if it couldn't win. This is such a great, hot, fire jam from the Queen Bey. Absolutely LOVE this song so much and can never get tired of this. Yayy for the 7 #1s and 19 Top 10 ranks for this song. Ew at that #45.... that is not right at all. Ugh it's sad seeing how this song was leading for most of the game until the last 5 lists. :(

1. SZA - "Kill Bill:" I had a feeling "Kill Bill" would win here because this song always wins all of the rankdowns here. It's an epic and amazing song, so I get it and it totally deserves the win. I did rank this at #2 as it is one of my major favorite songs of the year and I do truly love it. A stragetic part of me should have tanked this to help Beyoncé get the win but then I coudln't do that. But this is such a great, dark, moody song that SZA sells so well and love how she sings this and everything about the song. And dangg the 7 #1s and 20 Top 6 rankings are truly impressive! :o Although OMGG at 🇯🇲 lucy88 🇯🇲's tanking both the Top 2 songs but they still managed to make the Top 2 here.
