This was meant to the followup to her crossover hit "Feels So Good (Show Me Your Love)". It was a R&B ballad and was a major departure from the Freestyle/Dance sound of the previous hit. The song went on to underperform just reaching #78 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #27 on Billboard's Rhythmic Top 40 chart. A Dance remix with altered elements from the previous single was issued later on.
