Taylor Swift will tie Elvis Presley for the artist with the second-most weeks at #1 as 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (Republic) moves back to #1. Swift and Presley will both have 67 weeks on top. Can Taylor close out the year at #1, thus surpassing Elvis? It would be a fitting end to a remarkable year for both her and Republic, which also looks to have six of the Top 10 titles this week.

Now, if you don’t mind, we’ve got go do some last-minute shopping, which reminds us: Is it Christmas yet?

Only 40K from streaming, it’s going to likely fall from #1 once Christmas season ends. It would need new physical versions / some type of sales push from her team.

Morgan Wallen has 53K from streaming so he is looking like front runner to return to #1 in January….

1989 TV physicals won't fall off that hard.  Physicals will likely go down to around 15-20K like Midnights did (1989 Tv units have been tracking Midnights  later weeks pretty well ) which should be enough to ensure the #1. Midnights itself sold around 10K for almost every week this year so even without Christmas she will still have a big boost for vinyl.

I just remembered the Late Night CD edition of Midnights was sold on her webstore a few weeks ago with a ship date of December 15 (this tracking week). Guess it was a very small number of copies available since the increase from last week is negligible (so far).
