Thought there was already a thread for this, but I guess not. It's from the 1978 album "Blue Lights In The Basement". It was written by Reggie Lucas and James Mtume.
This is absolutely my fave duet from them. The production just so felt so whimsical and starry eyed. I can imagine this being a very popular slow dance song for high school proms back then. Luther Vandross and Beyonce did a cover version in 2003.
