Third single from "Growing Pains". It replaced "Hurt Again", that was released for a short time for airplay, but at the last minute was canceled in the favor of "Stay Down". I think they made a big mistake with this one. "Stay Down" is okay, but "Hurt Again" is the much stronger song, imo.
This was produced by Bryan-Michael Cox. It peaked at #34 R&B/Hip Hop Songs.

I remember seeing the video on VH1 a couple times. It's an okay album track, but very boring for a single choice.

I liked this quite a bit when I heard the album, but it never seemed like the best single choice. Hurt Again would have been a stronger choice but I think they wanted to send a Cox track out after how Work That did. Though they had already gone back to him with We Ride (I See The Future) and that did very badly.

This was an instant favorite for me when the album first dropped!

There were other tracks I liked better on this album including a couple of the bonus tracks, but this wasn’t bad. I think at the time I liked it more than “Hurt Again” which I went back and listened to and I like it. I had the cd and barely remember either of the tracks to tell you the truth. I hardly ever listened to full cds and would pick tracks to make mixed cds so I’m realizing I missed out on a decent amount of good tracks.
