kind of wondering if like. either the subject manner or the presence of loud guitars are really connecting with the gp ? otherwise there's not really any reason for a mid ass song like this to blow up, though he's also perfectly positioned for a breakthrough with all the vaguely folky / singer songwriter-esque pop blowing up right now, so i wouldn't be surprised if he parlays this into a hit making career

I like what this song was going for, and it's pretty good lyrically and vocally, but I'm not really a fan of the production. The shift between the softer instrumental and loud guitars doesn't feel very cohesive imo and I couldn't really get into it unfortunately.

I absolutely love the ‘Walk Me Home…’ EP.
This is mid and jarring for me but Benson deserves to be big, he’s so so talented. I hope this grows on me.

Yea this is going to be huge and probably going to turn him into a star realizing that radio was the last thing he needed to fully align especially with his support abroad. He’s one I would bet money on as he essentially checks all the boxes.

I remember a long time ago, like back when I was still watching, there was a really good guy who seemed like a shoe-in for frontrunner, but he mysteriously got cut at Top 24. |
