probably cuz he got a better deal right away with less strings attached. I remember a long time ago, like back when I was still watching, there was a really good guy who seemed like a shoe-in for frontrunner, but he mysteriously got cut at Top 24. jesus you mean people who sound like THIS can be front runners for american idol these days ?? no wonder that show has fallen off My thoughts exactly. King of vocals Adam Lambert sweetie ... this guy's voice just makes my ears bleed (I heard it for the first time on the radio yesterday twice) |

Been hearing this non stop on radio. IMO looking at his streaming, with consistent strong radio support, he just might end up being the next big global male star. Something about his rise reminds me of Harry Styles and all he needed was radio to fully connect and it was game over.

Tbh didn’t even know the album was coming out tonight. His team was SPOT ON with the timing of his album release and the lead single. Kinda the ideal radio position for an album release and will probably have solid SPS.

This album is fantastic! The vocals, production, lyrics, everything is perfection! This is an arena album. I hope the Grammys take notice for all the Pop and main categories including Best New Artist. Benson is going to be a powerhouse in the business very very fast.

The acoustic version has now soared into the top 10 iTunes (guessing more label shenanigans) which will likely lock the #1 this week. Terrible song, but it definitely deserves it by the data and "feels" like a #1.
