Whitney already has 2 of her 3 songs out?! I did not see that coming. Having said that, I liked every one of these 50 songs so no matter what happens I will be like "What?!" lmao. 1990s R&B is IT! I believe it's 3 out of 4 Whitney songs, but I completely agree with you on all of this. |

35. Diamonds And Pearls - Prince & The New Power Generation: Lmaoo dang when I saw that I took a song down from #16 to #32, I had a feeling it was this Prince song. This is a nice song... and I gave it a #49. It's nice, I get the appeal/love for it but sadly it was never really a song I connected to or cared that much for. At least this didn't rank as highly as it did on the '92 where I was like the very lone ranker for this song. So yeah I'm pleased with this showing up though sorry to those that ranked it high. 34. Heartbreak Hotel - Whitney Houston feat. Faith Evans & Kelly Price: This is a really cool song and I do really like it enough to give it a #38 ranking. Great collabo and all three ladies are great on this. With that said, I am still surprised with all of these Whitney songs showing up so soon and missing the Top 30. :o Though I did expect this song to rank lower than "All the Man That I Need" so I'm surprised this did better. 33. Too Close - Next: Aww noo, I think this is my first Top 10 loss? So I'm not too surprised about that but super sad to see this show up as this is my #7. :'( I absolutely lovee this song and it's such a classic jam to me. This was out when I really started getting into music regularly. I didn't even know what the song meant back then, lmao. But still, this is smooth, fun, catchy and I love it a ton. 32. The First Night - Monica: Aww noo, sad to see this song show up too, as I also really love this and enough to give it a #15 ranking. Monica definitely slayed it at this point in her career with her 'The Boy Is Mine' singles. This is a fun, catchy jam and one of my favorites from Monica. 31. Heartbreaker - Mariah Carey: Ahh I was wondering what the first Mariah song would be to show up on this rankdown. I can't be too surprised or too upset that it's "Heartbreaker." I think I would have expected that. I may have preferred it to be another song I ranked around the same'ish area but it's not biggie. I do love this song and it's a fun jam that I love enough to give it a #21 ranking. It's so fun and catchy. Ugh not a fan of '98 only having 2 songs left and '99 only having 1 song left.  |

From all songs left I am surprised Poison is still there Why? It is an amazing song that deserves to be top 5. Sadly it won't and it might miss the top 10 and be a very high standard deviation. |

30. Back & Forth - Aaliyah: Aww I love "Back & Forth." I was going to be sad with this showing up but then I saw that I ranked this at #26, so it's not too far off from where I ranked this. And gah just goes to show how stacked this list is. This is such a cool, smooth and great debut single from Aaliyah. Also not surprised that this has the 3rd lowest SD as I don't see this being polarizing. 29. Weak - SWV: I guess it makes sense for this to be the first SWV song to show up as it did rank lower than their other song from last time. Though I was hoping for "Weak" to rank higher this time around. I do love this song and oh wow, I ranked this at #30? :o Dangg it, now I wish this would have shown up just one spot lower so that I could have had a perfect rank.  But still, a great classic slow jam here! 28. On & On - Erykah Badu: Ooof, a song that I made drop from #18 to #28. I kinda had a feeling and am not surprised it's this one. I ranked this song at #42, and it's smooth and cool. I do really like this but I guess it's one of those songs I can be into more at certain times over other times. 27. I Wanna Be Down - Brandy: Aww debut single from Brandy! I love this song too and am sad that I could only give this a #35 ranking. But still, I do love other songs more from Brandy but this was a great way for her to begin her music career. 26. You Make Me Wanna... - Usher: Ooh wow a song with two #1s just missing out making the Top 25 does hurt and sting. :( This is such a classic and great song from Usher. 'My Way' was one of his many great eras and this is my favorite single of his from that album. I love this song a ton, enough so to give it a #16 ranking. Ugh I was doing pretty decent this set but this was definitely the hardest loss of today, for sure. This is a really strong and solid Top 25 overall. I'm curious what I got left, I got the following remaining: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19 22, 25, 27, 28, 29 32, 37, 40 43, 46 I'm doing very good. This has to be the best I've done in a rankdown in a really long time. I'm really glad that most of my Top 10 still remains (and lots of my Top 20) and made it through to the Top 25! |

Definitely excited to see how their songs will play out in this Top 25! And more shocking Love will never do is not one of them!!! 😮😮😮 How? Ugh I know, right?
