It’s been pretty much a general consensus among swifties and just casual fans that his part at the end is the best part. Also people have been wanting her to collab with him for years. You really think this would be smashing like this if he wasn’t involved? Yes. To each their own I guess |

I actually don’t think Post adds much of anything here since his part is so minor, but as per usual it’s nice to hear him show up on a song like this. Give him a bigger part and this probably really would be a juggernaut smash.

Glad to see, since I’d like this to peak quickly so we can get a proper second single run. I just don’t see this era lasting long, I feel like she’s gonna focus on the TVs left soon. Then she will likely have TS12 far along by the time those are behind us, especially since she was sitting on TTPD so long as it is. So yeah, this needs to hurry up so this isn’t a one single era.

There's so many other singles to choose from on the album Well obviously Heart is next and will be huge as long as it gets a proper window before TV. I want to see a BDILH big push more than anything else, but I don’t know if I would call it “surefire” as a hit. I think it’s one of those could work out massively as a new signature hit, might also not work out well at all situations. Otherwise, can’t imagine anything else being a big hit past this initial streaming craze. |

This debuts at number 9 on the Billboard HAC chart and number 13 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart. The highest debut ever on the former (along with Taylor's own Shake It Off), and the second-highest ever on the latter, behind Mariah Carey's Dreamlover and Shake It Off again which both debuted at number 12.
Funnily enough, Taylor has had one more song debut at number 13 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart and that's Bad Blood, which coincidentally also featured a rapper.

The AC run for AH is absurdity lol. When you look at the AC and HAC runs for songs like AH and CS, it’s not exactly hard to figure out why awareness and interest for her going into this era is at an unprecedented level.

I love how this is a slow burn and just gets better as it goes along (and with each listen). The structure seems atypical, with Post coming in more prominently toward the end. It works so well, and I think some of us might be surprised by this song's legs on the charts.
