This is so freakin catchy! All last month this has been playing every 2-3 hours whenever I stream KIIS on iHeart, as one of the "iHeart Radio Music you should know" tracks. Is anyone else reminded of Imagine Dragons listening to this?
One thing I don't get.. why the f bomb in the middle? The edit they've been playing on iHeart cuts it out, but that edit isn't available on streaming.. the parody to Wonka aspect is so obviously targeted to kids, so why have the only version that's available on streaming be the explicit one??

does this have a chance of debuting? the spin threshold for #50 is just 108, so yes I think it has a chance. I think the syndicated spins need to keep happening or it could be a while yet. Of the 100 spins, 55 of them came from stations who spun it just once (so assuming syndicated). So if those drop, that's a lot of spins to make up. This did get 17 adds Tuesday so there's a good chance it happens anyway. |

this is sounds like a track ajr would write and produce but if for some reason, they phoned up yungblud to do the vocals and told him to sound as angsty as possible
i'll admit, it's probably a better song then that description makes it out to be, but only barely
also this would've 100% smashed on alt during the 2019-2021 era and it makes me very grateful for the direction the format has gone in, even if it's arguably swung a little too far the other direction

^it hasn't even gotten an AT40 bump yet.. I think this could easily be a Breakout or On The Verge track this weekend, giving it a 200-or-so spin boost. That, plus the rate it's already gaining, could make this top 30 by the end of next week.. just wait! (it's also only been added by 24 out of 171 stations so far.. looking forward to seeing the adds board tonight!)
