Such a jam. Deserves a vid spotlight. Chris showcasing some killer biceps. Should be our next American Action hero.

So crazy how it really seemed Daughtry was about done getting any hits as Cage to Rattle only gave us a couple of very minor ones(though i actually really liked Deep End). Then in late 2019 he appeared on the masked singer, and less than a year later released “World on Fire” which was a return to his roots, without the pressures of being an HAC darling any longer. Active was hesitant at first, but it feels like with the follow ups “Heavy is the Crown, “Changes are Coming”, “Artificial” and now “Pieces”, it really feels like Daughtry absolutely feels natural on the active charts. And i love the resurgence. Pieces might be my favorite of all these songs. Can’t wait for the next album!

I think Chris being off a major label also helps a ton. I've always gotten the vibe this is the kind of music he wanted to make, but his record deal really handicapped him. Didn't care for "Artificial", but I like this one a good bit. Happy seeing Active welcome them with open arms.
