Falling Off The Countdown:
Jung Kook Standing Next to You Weeks On 9 | Peak 14
Olivia Rodrigo Get Him Back! Weeks On 22 | Four Weeks at #1
Observations:
It was the weekend of the TWO's as both versions of American Top 40 and Live One's Weekly Pop 20 had just two debuts, So did this countdown.
Jung Kook Standing Next to You ended its run on the countdown this week. The song fell off Live One's Weekly Pop 20 a few weeks prior to that which causes me to wonder if the same holds true for the song's run on the pop chart?
Anyone notice that the countdown was airing the uncensored version of Tate McRae's Greedy? Is this the final week on the countdown of this song?
Speaking of discrepancies, the countdown aired Ariana Grande's Yes, and? claiming it was the version with Mariah Carey and it wasn't.
This week's #7 song Taylor Swift's Is It Over Now is currently the number one song on both the pop and hot ac charts. [How often does that happen?]
There was a big shake up in the top 5 from this time last year.
And Dua Lipa has the new number one song for the eight weekend in a row.
