I'm not sure if this is the correct sub-forum for this questions, so mods feel free to move this if that is the case. Anyway, on to the question. So I started a music commentary podcast called Diva Deep Cuts (see thread here). I used Podcasters for Spotify (formerly Anchor.fm) that allowed access to Spotify's library to include music in the episode without copyright violations. In effect, my show is like a radio show where I play a song and talk about it. However, Spotify is getting rid of that feature in June 2024 and I have been trying to rethink my show before that day comes. In talking about this with some people, the idea came up of trying to take the idea to radio and get a station or other entity to buy in to my idea and get it on the air. So does anyone have any advice or guidance on how to go about this? I know radio in 2024 is at a crossroads, but I'm not sure what other format fits without me having to spend a lot out of pocket for my own ASCAP license.
