She benefits from white privelege (she has French, Irish, Native American ancestry which is obviously why she's so pale). If she wasn't mixed race, she probably wouldn't be as successful as she is. Beyonce did great here! I doubt sheβll be getting the #1 atp but a big album bomb will do. Oh and sheβll also help in getting rid of all of this (though there are asterisks here lol): I hope they don't send FE!N to recurrency because it's just now getting promoted to radio, so it should be allowed to still chart. I wont be surprised if it lives, but the chances it has at going recurrent are muddy at best due to that radio promo. Same case for Burn It Down and the Jelly Roll songs. But weβll see what Billboard does. |

Good hold for BeyoncΓ© in the second day. Had a ~32% drop if my math is mathing. Will be great to see "JOLENE" & "II MOST WANTED" go top 10. Shame "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" is unlikely to return to #1 but "Like That" is just way too big streaming-wise! It's actually up slightly week on week which is insane. Might fall a bit more notably in its 3rd week perhaps? Either way should see BeyoncΓ© rack up more weeks top 3/5 on the Hot 100 with the album boost.
Out of curiosity, does anyone know BeyoncΓ©'s single with the most weeks top 10? I wouldn't be surprised if "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" may challenge for that.

"My Love Mine All Mine" was streaming very well for ages (months of 1 million+ streams a day) and still is. Main issue was radio never picked it up significantly :( "End of Beginning" is actually on its way to become a decent sized hit. Rose to #11 in the previous Hot 100. Although the Future/BeyoncΓ© album bombs will push it down a bit, it's doing really well on spotify with over 1 million streams/day and is climbing Pop/HAC/Alternative radio currently. |

Yes! Happy to see End Of Beginning becoming a big hit as well, its doing amazing on spotify global too !!. That song smashing along the new Hozier song, "Beautiful Things" and "i like the way you kiss me" could help to bring back that a pop rock-ish indie sound.
a bit late, but also very happy to see "Lose Control" hitting number one! that guitar solo and the live version makes that a top-notch song.
And Yes BeyoncΓ©! love her new album
2024 becoming a really interesting year !!

Nice hold for BeyoncΓ©. Think the drop was like 25%. Nice to see Miley getting another top 10. Like that is so strong. With future and benson dropping again in the next two weeks, I think theyβre going definitely stop Taylor from getting the entire top 10 again.

Honestly, I won't write off the possibility of Taylor taking the whole top 10 again yet. I checked and the #10 song during Midnights' album bomb week had like 260+ points. Like That would have fallen below that with another 2 weeks of around 15-20% point drops while Benson should be just right around that number by then. Unless the second Future/Metro album have another Like That or Like That itself stabilizing at over 300 points, another top 10 blackout is still in the cards.

Yeah, I definitely would not count out Taylor getting the full top 10 again - especially if the songs really take off. The curiosity and her fan base alone will propel them and then if the songs are actually good (which im sure they will be!) the more casual people will start streaming to check it out, etc.

Yeah, I definitely would not count out Taylor getting the full top 10 again - especially if the songs really take off. The curiosity and her fan base alone will propel them and then if the songs are actually good (which im sure they will be!) the more casual people will start streaming to check it out, etc. Won't her fans be listening to the songs via all of the vinyls they've ordered? |
