Besides that, Sophie Ellis-Bextor should (unfairly) drop out of the top 40 tomorrow as well, and Tyla will also go recurrent tomorrow. The timing for it could not be better, considering Feather peaked at number one just a few weeks ago and is finally having being pushed out now. Too early to say anything, but I think this will be Sabrina's second consecutive chart-topper. |

A bit uncharacterstically late to the party here, just have been going through some personal stuff these past few days and wanted to be in a better mood before checking it out. Would have never expected the thread to already be three pages, as I think the "Fast Times" thread was just me and like one other person having a back and forth lmao.
Anyway, I liked the song. On first listen I wouldn't say I like it *quite as much* as "Feather," but it's still a nice song and will probably be a grower. It's wild to see the instant appeal this has had, but it is exciting to see all the good energy in here already.

Watch her become one of the next big stars. I always root for the artists that have those earlier singles that deserved better commercially and the following singles peak higher and their star slowly rises until that one single that all the metrics align and they skyrocket. I think this will be that single for her.

I just discovered this lil bop on Spotify while at the gym today and I love it. Judging by how well it’s doing on streaming, it looks like ‘Espresso’ will be sticking around for awhile. Hopefully this becomes one of the songs of the summer. Also, I can’t help but hear ‘Say So’ by Doja Cat in this song, especially during the chorus.
