I was gonna complain that this is not This Ol' Rodeo, but this one is actually pretty good. This one also has a really pleasant neo-traditional production, and good melody. Definitely his best single so far.

This one leans a lot more Country than the stronger rock influences of 23. I like this one enough but IMO, I kinda feel like this lacks the grit, autobiographical impact and unique sound that 23 had going for it and not sure if it’s the right single to differentiate himself from the other male artists trying to get consistent radio play. Definitely smart of his team not to delay the follow up tho.

This or "Glitter" would've been my picks for his next radio single. This one is a bit more cliche but it's a nice listen. Doesn't stand out but I could see radio taking to it well enough.

The instrumentation on this is delightfully country and just really lovely as others above have mentioned, and the melody is strong, so I could see this being a hit for him potentially given that it's safe uptempo radio fodder. That said, it is a rather noticeable pivot from "23" in terms of style as others said, so I do wonder if this will connect in the way that one did for him. I was already skeptical because despite moving the needle, "23" still needed well over a full calendar year to slog up the country charts and the early metrics for the album don't really indicate that it's translated beyond that single for him just yet, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if this one is a lower-impact hit in the end.
