yes i know bonus tracks and b sides aren't the same thing but they felt similar enough where i felt like i could group them in together
anyways, with hozier recently getting the most success of his career (from a hot 100 perspective) with a b sides ep and one of the songs shaping up to possibly surpass take me to church, i was curious what other artists did this ? the only other i could think of is pavement with harness your hopes (the "tell me, a word that rhymes with pavement" song for all you tik tok users, though if we extent it to it being *one* of the biggest hits of an artist's career then that could also include beth by kiss and another current example (and fellow left field comeback) in whatever she wants by bryson tiller

One of the Spinners' biggest hits is "I'll Be Around", which was originally a B-side for another track and peaked at number three on the Hot 100.

This will likely change soon, but Sabrina Carpenter's "Feather," which is currently her biggest hit, was a deluxe track that was released nearly a year after the original album.

"Super Bass" immediately came to mind. It was not even included in the standard version of Nicki's debut, Pink Friday.

Vogue • Madonna It was b side for Keep it together if I remember Not quite. They did start out creating a b-side for "KIT" to get people to buy that single, but once the label heard "Vogue" they said it was too good to be a b-side and it of course became a lead single. "Into the Groove" was a b-side, though. I'm not sure it's her biggest hit, but Madonna doesn't really have one biggest hit anyway. "Super Bass" immediately came to mind. It was not even included in the standard version of Nicki's debut, Pink Friday. Wait, so it was initially recorded for the album but was left off it? I had no idea. Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" is a good answer for the topic question. It was the b-side to "Reason to Believe" but DJs began playing it and it became a #1 hit and a signature song for Stewart. Pearl Jam's "Yellow Ledbetter" has become one of their best known songs, is on their greatest hits, and is a live staple for them, but it was initially left off their debut album and was the b-side to "Jeremy."

Conway Twitty-a-side was I'll Try and the b-side was It's Only Make Believe in 1958.

"Ice Ice Baby" was also initially a b-side, but a DJ began playing it and the song took off.
I miss the days when DJs would hear a b-side they liked and a song could take off that way.

Not her biggest hit, but one of her signatures and more impactful songs. Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" was released as the b-side to "Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over)." It ended up causing such a fuss, they flipped it to the A-side a couple of months later.
