I think Taylor in general gets poor callouts unless we are talking about a CS or AH type of undeniable smash. (MBOBHFT anyone???) She’s just a polarizing figure at this point due to all of her success IMO. Society loves to tear down their icons. Still, radio can’t not support her current single with the kind of album chart domination she’s commanding.

I just think she went with this because it is streamed a lot or because she had a video she wanted to direct. I still think it is a "meh" single choice and works better as a tour song as her fans "get it." MBOBHFT was ready to smash, and honestly, so is "Down Bad." This will be fine, and have a 'Lavendar Haze' run, but it's no 'Karma.'

I'm quite okay with this crawling its way toward the top 10. The top 10 is so competitive right now. Beautiful Things is ancient and still won't slip. Too Sweet and Espresso aren't moving. A Bar Song has a decent lead. Birds of a Feather, GL Babe, and Please x3 keep getting huge updates. The only song free-falling is I Had Some Help, and it still has 8k more spins than this.

360 is also likely to pass this sooner rather than later.

Honestly, let all those songs burn each other out first while this gains +40 a day for the next 4 months for all I care. It'll get up there eventually. Maybe not #1 but I still think top 5 is likely.

Callouts are basically a summary of listener surveys where radio listeners can give feedback on songs being played on radio. We used to be able to see what percentage of listeners said they loved, liked, disliked, and were burned on for each song (loved -> favorite, liked -> positive, disliked -> negative, burned -> burn were the terms I believe). Now I look at the Monday Morning Intel for pop and country callouts (they might have HAC callouts sometimes on the pop PDFs).
