I don’t think she cuts this era short by releasing a TV. She has been on a schedule of two TVs one year, and a new album the next. Especially with TTPD performing as well as it has, no way she stops its momentum with a TV announcement. We might get a Holiday Collection (TV) if we’re lucky.

Plus she’ll want all eyes on TTPD for a possible 5th AOTY

I don’t see any indication that we won’t at least get three singles. Her last studio album had three and that was amidst all of the TV’s as well. I don’t see any reason for her to cut this era short in any way with the numbers it’s pulling. The only issue would be if they are trying to cram in the TV releases before the tour wraps and while I get the appeal of that, it seems unnecessary at this point.

No way in hell she gets a 5th AOTY win. Nomination likely. A win? Could you imagine the blowback? 😂 I'd say it's between Billie and Beyonce. Billie deserves it with her latest album, but I could very well see them throwing it to Beyonce as a consolation for the fact she should have one already and it's overdue. Either way, somebody isn't gonna be happy.

TTPD didn't even need a second single tbh. The 2nd leg of the US tour would've carried this album by itself and "Fortnight" has done fine thus far. At this point it's just for s**ts and giggles. lol They better bring a fantastic video. I don't want a tour performance and STAY AWAY FROM THE CIRCUS. I want something high budget and creative.

It's sad I have to ask this but there are too many sensitive people and too much corrupt leadership/favoration, and unbiased leaders, I have to applogize before I speak. But I feel like Billie should get it over Beyonce if it isn't Taylor. Cowboy Carter feels like a big flop/under performance at this point. Album sales especially and single wise. The album sank immediately after going #1 and her getting it at this point is a constellation prize because it's *BEYONCE*. Billie on the other hand had been more steady and had more radio hits than Beyonce has even if her album is much newer. It's a joke and I'm tired of the door prizes Beyonce gets. So for me it's TTPD, Hit Me Soft And Hard At The Same Time, and the Benson Boone album. CBC was a bore and there is nothing to it with like 20 writers/producers, including covers and songs she didn't write... If there was real AOTY potential people would be streaming it more, and it would be bought/streamed more. I feel like now a days Beyonce has over night fans and not *STANS* which is why the album is performing so terribly and is showing terribly on the charts. I COULD NOT think of any other way to say this without being honest, speaking from my heart, but I'm sure CBC will still be handed AOTY *just because*

No way The Grammys fold and give Beyonce AOTY just for snubbing her before. I mean they would have given it to Lemonade if that was the case. I think it comes down to who else is nominated in the category and if another nominee will split your votes.

I think Taylor will have lots of goodwill leftover from The Eras Tour, and the album records she is breaking bode well for her. By the end of 2024 she very well may be at 20+ weeks at #1… it would be very hard for voters to overlook TTPD at that point.

not here to get you in trouble or whatever but just pointing out that grammy's are not decided by popularity (even if sometimes it feels that way). remember kacey musgraves winning? her album was not even close to the most sold or most streamed but it was deemed the most worthy of winning the award. billie and beyonce's albums are both great so i'm happy either way, but it would be nice to see beyonce finally take it. you're entitled to your opinion but the acclaim for Cowboy Carter has been insane and it winning wouldn't just be consolation prize but a reward for a great body of work

There is no harm in making this a 2nd single. Could probably outperform Lavender Haze and keep her name on the radio. Fortnight never took off like Anti Hero or Cruel Summer so she isn’t competing against herself for airplay like all her 2023 singles.

This was the first song I heard from TTPD, and it clicked immediately, so I'm glad it's a single even though this era didn't need another. Given how huge Taylor is now, it should be a moderate hit at least, so there's certainly no harm in releasing it.

I'm glad they're releasing something. But this approach is so lowkey I have to wonder if they're doing a Karma and racking up some early spins before a remix or if Tay herself doesn't give a fuck right now and the label is sending something on their own. It's such a lowkey way for her to do a single release (so far).

I can honestly see this doing quite well at radio and the stan in me is hopeful about its prospects, but man do I prefer a great deal of songs over it—namely “Down Bad” which is an undeniable smash hit waiting to happen. “Guilty as Sin?” imo would be pretty good, maybe as a lowkey final single, and I’m DYING for any one of “loml,” “The Black Dog” or “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” to get a moment in the sun. I’d really love for her to throw out a power ballad like those three into her singles discography.

It's true that since the album has already been #1 for 12 weeks and is approaching 5X platinum, it doesn't really need any other singles to still be considered a massive success, but I'm still glad they're releasing Broken Heart because it's my favorite song on the album, and it's nice to keep the album going by listening to as many of its songs on the radio as possible. Keep in mind it already has a #3 Hot 100 peak, so the pressure is a bit off to rank highly again, but with decent radio it should hopefully at least re-enter the top 40 for a while.

Since this is an uptempo, I also like that there will be a change in her singles chronology since her last 3 singles were downtempo (Cruel Summer, IION, and Fortnight).
