I've said this before, but this song sounds alright. It's easily better than anything they released from No Helmets, no pads, just balls (or whatever they called their album). Their biggest problem is that they live and die by the cliché, moreso than any other band I can think of. Even Limp Bizkit. And these aren't even interesting clichés, either. I also can't stand the way it seems like Pierre is singing with his nose plugged. Also, looking at some of these song titles-- "Me Against The World", "Welcome To My Life", "Shut Up", "Perfect World"-- I mean, you can tell by the titles that they probably haven't stepped it up very much for this second album.

Judging by the clip....it's actually not too bad. :o Much better than the drivel that is "Welcome To My Life" and all of their previous singles.
But it will flop....lol, have they ever even charted on alternative?

"Addicted" peaked at #46. It spent only 2 weeks on the chart, if I remember correctly, falling off right after its peak.

Ugh, are they serious? I cant stand this group
"Welcome to My Life" was all geared towards teenagers feeling insecure and not in the "in crowd" and now "Me Against the World"??
All of their songs have the same lyrical content...and they are sooo trying to captialize off that whole teen angst thing.

To me, the title sounds like an attempt to make yet another hypocritical "non-conformity" song of the type. For that reason, I'm waiting until I have to hear this song publicly to actually listen to it. No way I'm doing that in isolation.

This has been surfacing recently under the band name The Brazilians. Anyone know what that's about?

I just heard this and I can't believe no one has mentioned how the chorus of this is a rip-off of "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

Does anyone seriously believe they actually have a shot at Alternative radio? No matter what they put out IMO, their chances of having a hit on Alternative radio are slim to none.

This rocks hard. I was pleasantly surprised when I happened to catch it on radio and figured out what/who it was. I'm gonna have my friend burn their new CD for me.

This and "Untitled" are the only good songs on the album. The rest is typical disposable "pop punk". I gotta give Simple Plan props for this song though. It's too good

It's too hard-edged for the label to send to Pop, and it won't hit Alternative because it's Simple Plan. Too bad, because this is easily the best song I've heard from them, and probably the best song they've ever done (my guess is I would be hard-pressed to find an album track that's that much better than their other singles).

This is the theme song to MTV's new prank show "Damage Control".

I really like this. I wish they'd make more songs like this one, even if they don't bring them as much chart success.
