This is at very least going to peak top 2 Billboard, but I think it can get to #1 once fortnight fades. Song of the summer along with Espresso!
Also, this fits in with the current sound of country radio. Will be interesting to see if the format embraces it, or if it shows it’s true colors, so to speak…

He was all over Stagecoach this weekend. So, while it's to be seen whether Country radio will embrace the song, it seems Country audiences (at least California Country audience) has.

This looks like it has the potential to be a "Old Town Road" type of viral song leading to lots of Tik Tok videos and memes making the song inescapable.
I do not like the song and that is why I do not want it to be successful.
Hmm… this gatekeeping mentality has always been so odd to me. Idk, as someone who absolutely loves it when the songs and artists I love get recognized on a widespread level, I just have never related. |
