hey friends, i am beyond excited to share this next chapter of music with you. life has been wonderfully full and beautifully hard lately. i thought that ‘static’ would be the perfect first song to put out. i wrote it with my friend, joe clemmons, from a spot of exhaustion… i woke up feeling the weight of the NOISE of it all. this world is so loud - it pulls us in so many directions - demands us to “do more” and “be more” - and it’s so easy to lose sight of the magic.
as a creator, its easy for me to get trapped in the hamster wheel of chasing success - and i forget sometimes how little it actually matters. i started playing music because it made me feel something. it was therapy. it was fun. it was magic.
if you’re tired, jaded, or feeling burned out - i hope this song can be your little anthem. (where my tired mom’s at?) i love y’all and am so grateful i get to make up little songs and share them with you. i’m so happy to be a little part of your lives.
