I like how some songs on this week's chart have old school runs (such as "Selfish") while others continue the slower chart trend (see "Flowers"). May 5, 2024#1:"Beautiful Things". **4 weeks at #1 **. Oldest Song: "Flowers" with 69 weeks. This song now stands alone in 2nd place for longevity. It is the longest any song has spent on the chart since the most recent recurrent rule was implemented in 2012. If it lasts 3 more weeks, it will be the new record holder. Oldest Song below #10: "Water" with 20 weeks. Songs below #5 eligible to go recurrent when falling below #10: - "Flowers".
- "Calm Down".
- "Greedy".
Former top 10s now below #10 eligible to go recurrent: Songs below #10 eligible to go recurrent when reaching 2 weeks w/o a bullet: - "Water", which does not have a bullet this week.
Biggest Mover: "No Angels" (33->25). Biggest Bullet: "Too Sweet", (+816 spins). Debuts: - Highest Entry @#38: "Eyes Closed" - Imagine Dragons, their 15th time on the chart.
- @#40: "Espresso" - Sabrina Carpenter, her 3rd appearance at HAC.
Exiting the Survey: - "Lovin on Me", peak of #12, 20 weeks on, to recurrent.
- "Seasons", peak of #13, 17 weeks on.
Other Notes: Top 5 Entries: Top 10 Entries: - "Fortnight" (13->9). This is Taylor's 31st top 10 and Post's 4th.
- "wait for love" (12->10). Ariana racks up her 9th top 10 hit.
Top 15 Entries: Top 20 Entries: - "Space in My Heart" (22->20).
Top 30 Entries: - "No Angels" (33->25).
- "The Door" (31->29).
- "II Most Wanted" (35->30).
