This is so good! It reminds me of how refreshing Guilty As Sin? is. I like how she is using her vocals here, I much prefer it to her usual whispering

This is probably one of the few female mainstream songs that just gives immediate modern classic vibes. Like it’s sublime.

I get why they made “Lunch” the first single, but this is clearly THE song of the album. Billie has never been a singles artist anyways, and aside from “Bad Guy” her songs don’t really ever correlate in chart run & peaks with how big they ended up being though so even if this isn’t some #1 Hot 100 smash I have no doubt it’ll go down as a career song for her.

The only Billie song predicted to rise nezt week. In AG7 terms, BOAF is the “We Can’t Be Friends” to Lunch’s “Yes, And”. This was the obvious hit, but they released the other song first because it would address the narrative/make more of an initial splash.
