A little fun fact here. Beautiful Things is the first song by an American Idol contestant to rip the chart since Stronger by Kelly Clarkson back in 2012. The only other Idol artists to have a #1 hit on AT40: Chris Daughtry and Jordin Sparks.

It also has to be a good start for most plays of the year with the official tabulations in mediabase 24/7 recording from Nov to Nov. This song should have one more week in the top 10 on the AT40 countdown

Yes. That rise in the chart may have made ‘Cruel Summer’ by Taylor Swift have chart life into the actual summer 2024. We will see the direction it takes next chart.
