I’m loving that Warner is going the slow burn strategy with his singles than hard impact fast rising strategy like they’re doing with Benson. Teddy clearly appeals to multi formats which will really help him with longevity single and career wise. I can see where some may like this better than “Lose Control”.
He’s got a decent amount of good music.
Not sure if you checked out his album yet, but it’s very good.
He also just put out a song on July 12th called “Funeral”.
It’s similar tempo to “The Door”.
You may like it.

I think this is definitely headed to at minimum top 10 AAA, top 5 HAC and top 20 on pop, and it’ll get there in probably a month or so. hopefully thats when the focused television (Late Night, SNL if his team could secure that) and streaming promo start (TTH add and stronger playlisting) to potentially push this past a moderate hit. I still don’t know if this is going to be a smash hit like Lose Control but I think it could be a big hit in its own right.

Add me to the list of people who prefer this to "Lose Control." I liked "Lose Control" a decent amount when it came out, but overplay made it really wear on me, particularly since my local CHR had it in power from the beginning of the year to just a few weeks ago. "The Door" is also just a better song imo.
