Kameron Marlowe - "Keepin' the Lights On"

Kameron Marlowe's second studio album, Keepin' the Lights On, came out yesterday:




I'll give more thoughts once I've listened to it more, but on one listen, wow I'm really impressed. I listened to his first LP and liked it when it came out, but I didn't revisit it much and kinda forgot about him. He's got an incredible voice though. Reminds me of a Randy Houser of sorts vocally, but without all the random strained shouting. There's just so much soul and color to Kameron's pipes.

This is a great album. He's such a great talent that I think could really blow up with a full push. He's a great blend between a more traditional country sound and what's being played on modern country radio most of the time. Still absolutely baffled "Giving You Up" wasn't a huge smash, but I'm hopeful "Strangers" can smash like it should and he'll get a few more singles off of this.
