It seems like 2024 is the year that white wonen have went back to being the main consumers of music.
Taylor, Billie, Sabrina, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Morgan Wallen, Hozier, Benson Boone, etc having all these streaming smashes back to back. All of their audience has similar overlap and white women are the main one.
Streaming always seemed to have men as the main consumers by a notable margin but this year it’s not that strong anymore it seems.

IHSH on track for another 400+ points for a 5th week. The longest above that mark during the 2020s (tied with "WAP"), even in spite of the harsh 2022 formula changes. Insane. Will be Diamond in 12 months or less (near OTR level, faster than Last Night which is hitting the mark right now). If it holds on like Last Night then expect top 10 GOAT all-time, especially if the GOAT multi increases to 0.75 (as it should). Wonder if it can stay on top for all 10+ weeks consecutively, especially with how strong its points are. If it does, I’ll be just the second double-digit ruler of the decade to do so.

I'm not sure what I did to deserve to be blocked, but okay. Both times I have interacted with you this week, you posted something that I didn't agree with, I responded with my own point(s) to add to the conversation, and gotten a response that doesn't actually address the conversation at hand. Can you respond with something that backs up your argument that Sabrina's success may or should not be considered "authentic"? Or are you just going to continue to post borderline bait?

Can please not start with that conversation? Let's take a look at what's #1 currently on Apple Music and then return to this "Authentic is a strong word" talk? If I could seg away and turn to another aspect of this, how much are Apple Music numbers "doctored" like Spotify? Does Apple have extensive autoplay and controlled playlisting, or are the rankings more based on users' choice? Apple is much more album focused while Spotify is much more playlist focused with gives Spotify more control. Apple has autoplay but from my experience it mostly plays proven hits that are a few years old. You don't really see any evidence of paid autoplay unlike Spotify. Anyway for Sabrina, she is a major label artist that has been hustling and struggling for over 10 years to have a breakthrough. Her team isn't hiding that both them and her are working hard to get her to finally breakthrough. 90% of pop stars break through in part due to their labels heavily pushing them . It in no way guarantees success as most artists who are heavily pushed never actually breakthrough . But its pop stardom.
