Impacting AAA on July 1st, per JBE.
Not a fan of this pop rock/trap song he made, and honestly should've been pushed to alt or pop instead of AAA.

Impacting AAA on July 1st, per JBE. Not a fan of this pop rock/trap song he made, and honestly should've been pushed to alt or pop instead of AAA. Yeah this song is okay, but I prefer his earlier chillwave style. I agree, this song would be a better fit on alt or pop. But I will say, AAA seems to be branching out these days and is starting to include songs that they might not have in the past.

But I will say, AAA seems to be branching out these days and is starting to include songs that they might not have in the past. I mean, true, it has sort-of moved away from being the adult contemporary of alternative / rock formats and has become more of a misfit format for songs that aren't able to get play elsewhere (not including Alt / Active dual-impacters that also chart here). Still wouldn't say that this particular sound flatters AAA though. Also another reason that I can see behind the push is the fact that he's been on Dead Oceans (not his former label, Carpark) and that indie label has been rising in notoriety in recent years.
