Really love this direction for Addison. Obsessed was a complete misfire, but she went away and reworked things, glad sheβs getting another shot at pop stardom.

Our weekly reminder that Born to Die is the most influential female album this decade. I was literally coming in here to say something to this effect, lol. This is okay. But it's definitely serving Lana-kiddie version. I loathe the video though, she's trying way too hard. |

I like this, but I personally like βObsessedβ more as of now.
She put music out an Ep a year or two after that and I liked a couple of songs from it.

Two years ago I'd have told you Dixie D'amelio was the one who really wanted a pop career, because she was at least putting out a semi-consistent drip of music while Addison put out literally the one song then ghosted. But now I have no idea wtf Dixie is doing music-wise, and Addison has since put out an EP (comprised of polished-up leaks), collaborated with Charli XCX (both on said EP and on a 'Von Dutch' remix) and now this. If this manages to outperform 'Psycho' on radio then it's a win regardless of whether it ends up 'huge'.
But to be fair, this is already a win over Dixie by the fact of a streaming presence alone.
