If you told me that this was a 2024 song based on the artists names, I would not have believed you at all. Thought that this was a throwback song from the 2000s. Kinda shocked, but wow all the artists are still going.

I haven't really paid attention to LL (and I was a MASSIVE fan in the 80s and 90s) since the Phenomenon album. Edit: Oops, I forgot that Headsprung was on The Definition. I burned a copy of that CD from my bestie/roommate at the time, but I didn't even realize there were two albums between Phenomenon and The Defintion, LOL. I might give the new one a curiosity listen, but the man is pushing 60. What's he even rapping about?

I'm not sure why he would pick Rick Ross and Fat Joe as it does seem pretty dated lol But LL has some good jams in the past for sure
