Another one? More unnecessary and embarrassing reasons why Ryan isn't in the studio. Hurry back again, Ryan. Casey Casum never took so many weeks off. We might have an extra from the 90’s again though with ‘Meet Virginia’ Predictions for their 4 Train songs Meet Virginia, Drops of Jupiter, Drive By, and their latest Long Yellow Dress. Still 9 songs on the countdown that debuted in 2023. Has to be record with almost a quarter of AT40 songs still on with half year over entering July. Usually at this time of year there would be at most 5 from prior years being debuted |

For a fast faller, "Cruel Summer" somehow managed to achieve one full year on the countdown, and it was all thanks to that rebound it made last month. The last time a sleeper hit a full year was "Die For You". Pretty impressive achievement. It’s actually a slow decline for ‘Cruel Summer’ by Taylor Swift from the last time it was at #1 on Oct 21 last year. A great run as you say though completing a full calendar year and with her latest project coming out this part April. It took a long time for ‘Cruel Summer’ by Taylor Swift to decent down the chart from the multiple trips to number 1. It’s suprising it lasted a year considering how fast it moved up early last summer |
