• When Pat Monahan guest hosted the Hot AC show on March 19, 2022, he played the following 4 Train songs as regular AT40 extras:
"Hey, Soul Sister" (2010), "Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)" (2001), "Calling All Angels" (2003) and "Play That Song" (2017).
He mentioned in this show that "Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)" is the most important song for him and that this year is the 15th anniversary of their album "Save Me, San Francisco" which includes "Hey, Soul Sister".

• "Houdini" by Eminem was played as one of the "Breakouts" this week,
The song interpolates "Abracadabra" by Steve Miller Band, which peaked at #1 for 2 non-consecutive weeks at Billboard Hot 100 on September 4 and 25, 1982, and peaked at #3 at Radio & Records CHR chart on July 16, 1982.

CHR and Hot AC played different optional extras this week as CHR decided to play songs by other acts instead. At least Monahan is hosting both shows this time. He only hosted the Hot AC version back in March 2022 while Gayle hosted the CHR version.

"Houdini" is #29 on the latest published Hot AC chart.

The Steve Miller song is a bit old for HAC (though it’s still a familiar hook). The larger reason HAC is catching onto it is because Eminem is a legacy artist and the song interpolates “Without Me”. Particularly in bigger markets, rhythmic throwbacks on HAC have become increasingly common, which is why Houdini has a better chance at becoming a HAC hit than something like Agora Hills.
