Interestingly, this is always the one that grabbed me the most and stuck in my head before it ever went viral. I just think it really epitomizes when the gen z brand of short, simple pop songs without in-your-face hooks does really work. Very As It Was esque.

The tracklist leak seemed fake to me— guess not! Weird choice to not have a bigger name on what would sensibly be the next single to push, but one thing I’ve enjoyed about this album cycle is the nonchalance about traditional single promotion. It’s refreshing!

There is going to be zero Ari/Taylor discussion because the song has been changed for the remix. Charli has written a completely new verse and the snippet of Ariana's verse alludes that she is going to be talking about how the media is a knife in her back.
