Falling Off The Countdown:
Meghan Trainor Whoops Weeks On 5 | Peak 26
Observations:
Live One's Weekly Pop 20 had the most debuts this weekend with three, followed by both versions of American Top 40 with two and then this countdown which had only one.
Last weekend's largest falling song managed to hold on for another week.
Meghan Trainor's Whoops was the sole casualty making room for this week's only debut. Of note the last three singles of hers have under performed on the charts. What is up with that?
Host Spyder Harrison said that Eminem's Houdini climbed nine spots to number seven. Uh... that was last weekend. The song didn't move this weekend.
Dua Lipa's Illusion returned to its peak position.
Big upset in the top 5 from last year.
And Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso remains the number one song for the sixth week in a row. It is not only the number one song on this countdown, but also on the pop version of AT 40 and Live One's Weekly Pop 20. I guess it is the song of the summer!!
