So If I were betting, I'd imagine they're going to ride this out till the end of the year. I think it will get caught in the Christmas freeze in the top ten of all her relevant charts, and then it'll blow up again/peak in January. In the meantime, there'll obviously be a big push to re-launch the Christmas material given she's in a completely different place in her career from 12 months ago.
Then, post-Grammy's, I'm sure they'll go all in on Bed Chem (video drop etc.) before re-releasing the album with a deluxe and new single next Summer.

I'm surprised they'd ship out the vinyls so late? Even if it's trying to match when the airplay will peak, it'll get lost in the Christmas streaming shuffle by then. I would have shot for mid-November at the latest.

i don't think that this is a sure thing of this hitting #1 at Pop anymore. Why? It's literally #1 on US Spotify. This seems like the usual slowdown for songs in this region we've seen for years. |

The problem right now with 'the usual slowdown' is the pointed refusal from radio to allow turnover in the top 10. Sure it may be normal to slow down prior to the top 10, but there still needs to be somewhere for this to eventually go and that's been the big problem for damn near everything in the top 20. Too many songs coming up strong, basically zero places in the top 10 up for grabs. Sabrina has the momentum and the spotlight to overcome the hurdle, but because radio is idiotic and unpredictable there is always the off-chance that this gets stalled too long to the point radio 'gives up' on it because it's not advancing (with radio lacking the self-awareness to realize if it's not advancing it's radio's own fault).
That's been the problem for Gaga/Bruno (who are now clear of the hurdle), for Kendrick (should've been top 10 a while ago when that was closer to its pop cultural peak), Dasha (should've been top 10 ages ago and on the tail end of its life cycle), Teddy (radio should've been quicker off the jump given how heavily they leaned into 'Lose Control'). Even Chappell, who has barely scraped top 10, looks in trouble of getting stone-walled after she gets pushed back out by Gaga/Bruno, because radio isn't giving up anything else in the top 10 right now.

Yeah for sure, I'm kind of shocked stations aren't swapping their spins for "Please Please Please" to this one. I think this probably won't peak closer to the end of the year. I assume the big push for "Bed Chem" will start at the top of the year. |

The crazy resurgence near the top Espresso has been having on CHR and P3 also refusing to die near the top is definitely hurting this a bit now. There’s just no way CHR is going to take this top 5 when theyre power spinning the hell out of the two prior singles still. I bet it would be near #1 already if not for that.

Honestly glad Please Please Please got that #1 week because I don't see the stars aligning for her anymore this era, unless Bed Chem blows up randomly on streaming again. This already burned a lot of demand and Xmas is gonna suck the oxygen out of the chart very soon. By January it's gonna be ancient news.

I think Sabrina is about to pip Chappell for top 10 this week. Sabrina will join Ariana, Doja and Harry Styles as an artist with three simultaneous pop radio top 10's. It could be seen coming from a mile away given 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please' are still both top 3, but I didn't think we'd be getting there just yet.
