Yeah this chart is an absolute mess. It reminds me of the times when I used to listen to the Sirius XM Weekend Countdown in my middle school years before switching to AT40. Everything was all over the place. 😵‍💫 The Top 6 is completely bugging me.

If by "tabulation mistake" you mean "whichever intern they assigned to cobble together the chart", then yeah probably. Last week had some weird moves that weren't based on reality and they seem to have overcorrected this week.

It's tied for the highest drop off so far this year. "One Of The Girls" fell off from #25 back in June.

Very impressive. There are still 5 songs on the AT40 countdown that debuted last year in 2023 . We are almost at the end of August. It’s been a long time if ever there have been so many this late in the year. The record will stay though overall with Calm Down by Rema featuring Selena Gomez and the second longest to cover a three year span which was Levitating by Dua Lipa featuring formerly Da Baby.

Greedy by Tate McRae is behind the pace on 8-24-24 at number 39 than High Hopes by Panic At The Disco on 8-23-19 in the battle for most weeks and latest time charting in a calendar year when it was the first number one song of the year. Regardless it is an astonishing feat. If it wasn’t for that rediculous uncalled for drop from 12 to 21 back in the late spring Greedy would be under 35. That drop cost her three weeks at minimum to break Panic at the Disco’s record with High Hopes.

What the hell is going on with this AT40 chart? ‘Too Sweet’ by Hozier has been up and down like the New York Stock Exchange and Stock Market the last few weeks on the countdown.

What’s next number 1 followed by a drop to number 6? This doesn’t make sense along with a few songs previous trajectories.
