Wow. "Not Like Us" scores a palindrome of 13 12 12 13, and "The Door" almost scores a jackpot of 15 15 15 15, only the first 15 being 19 where it was at last week. And I guess radio decided to be somewhat friendly to "360" giving it a higher peak on the countdown here than on Mediabase.

At number 37, Lose Control by Teddy Swims is the last remaining song that debuted in 2023 in middle October of 2024. It seems impressive but it not like our longest running song from the prior year which was Calm Down by Rema featuring Rema that debuted in 2022 and exited the AT40 countdown earlier this year 2024.

This is a great song! So glad they played it. It went double platinum earlier this year.

Three impressive runs in the top 10 continue. 28 weeks and counting for ‘Beaufiful Things’ from Benson Boone and 2 at 23 weeks consecutive run for ‘Espresso’ by Sabrina Carpenter and ‘So Sweet’ by Hozier. And the fact that ‘Espresso’ is still at number 2 after hitting number 1 in early July is impressive staying power.

Slow it down by Benson Boone and Austin by Dasha are two perfect examples of how songs have died on their rise on the AT40 chart in the 11-20 range this year causing these long top 10 runs for the most part.

The last time an artist had the number 2 and 3 song must have been Taylor Swift last year I’m assuming. If I had said Sabrina Carpenter will have 4 smashes and 3 in the top 20 a year ago you would have not believed me.

There was a mistake on the debuts listed in the intro .. Meghan Trainor was in @34 with ‘Criminals’ and ‘Close to you’ by the lead act of Taylor Swift’s shows Gracie Abrams was @38 instead.
