i dont kno if theres a thread for this but there bloody should be. this song is unbeliveably wicked. it has a realy dancey feel like 'somebody told me', and the vocalist sounds like a mix of alien ant farm and jet. this is too good a song.

the vocalist sounds like a mix of alien ant farm and jet. I believe it's Daryl Palumbo from Glassjaw.

It is.
I believe that Dan "The Automator" is also the producer for their album.
It's so weird though, the difference between this and Glassjaw.

Well, they appear to be pushing this song at least a little bit -- there's a banner for it on AllAccess. Although I'm not aware of an add date, and it only has 18 spins on Alternative.

AllAccess says this went for adds on February 22nd, but it looks like they'll try again July 19th. By that time, it will have marked its 20th week on my personal top 100 (provided it stays on that long).

Love(d) this song, but it's currently in retirement on my chart, with a peak at #1 for a week.

For those who have Sirius (AltNation, 6021), Head Automatica will be stopping by their AltNation studios and speaking with them, as well as probably playing some album cuts. It's at 9:00, for those interested.

I really love this song and this song have potential of hitting top 10 but unfortunately i don't see it getting much gain. Yeah, neither can I, although it's a really fun, cool song. I was listening to the interview yesterday (after, I'm guessing, they re-scheduled it) and it was hilarious. DJ Madison is just too funny and "skanky" to be on normal radio. They played some album cuts like "The Razor", as well as "Beating Heart Baby", whom the band said had just gotten a new video, and had an NYC trivia game (since Head Automatica's from NYC). Oh, and welcome Faiz.

I've heard this sparingly on the radio, maybe 6 times total (with five of them being on All-Request hours...go figure). Liking this a lot though. Kind of reminds me of Coheed & Cambria.

I'm still kind of shocked that I haven't heard this on WPBZ, WOCL, or WJRR, but its a very underrated song that probably would do well on Pop. It really sucks about Darryl Palumbo's bad health lately, and hopefully he can overcome his Chohn's Disease.

Yeah, they had to cancel the shows here in LA. Hopefully he will be alright soon, and they reschedule some of the shows. They have a lot of good songs on their album.

On their MySpace page, however, it barely says anything about his recent hospitalization.

I'm sorry to ruin the fiesta, but I really don't like this.
His voice is grating in my head and I am finding this more obnoxious and annoying listen after listen. Of course it helps that my obsessed station plays this over and over and over.
