This comes out March 1st. I'm very enterested to see what this does on the alternative chart.
Its also looking like the U.K. is going to be representing strong that week with The Music and Embrace releasing singles that week. Embrace could be a success story of 2005 as Ashes is a killer song.

I wonder if that title is a reference to Kraftwerk?

Well, when Ian Curtis was still alive and Joy Division were together as a band, Ian would quite often play the rest of the band (now New Order) Kraftwerk records.
So its a definite possibility.

I wonder if that title is a reference to Kraftwerk? That's what I've heard.. The cover to the single is supposedly based on a kraftwerk cover as well.. I think it's a good song, but I don't know how well it'll do over here in the states.

NEW ORDER Krafty Producer(s): John Leckie, New Order Writer(s): New Order Publisher(s): Warner/Chappell Genre: ROCK Label/Catalog Number: Warner Bros. 49307 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: February 19, 2005
In the mood for something new from the U.K. band that has been a major influence for many of today's modern rock newcomers? You're not alone. With "Krafty"—the first glimpse into the act's eighth studio album, "Waiting for the Sirens' Call" (due April 12)—New Order deftly delivers the goods. Haunting synths? Check. Strummy, layered guitars? You bet. A rollicking dance-rock beat? Absolutely. Bernard Sumner's unmistakable voice? Naturally. With this potent track, the group recalls the past, but continues to look forward. Indeed, newly styled computerized beats work incredibly well within the band's signature sound. Lyrically, Sumner asks for just "one more day"—"a second chance," in fact—to enjoy the world's "mountains, lakes and the human race." With many feeling confused and lost in today's world, New Order puts it all in perspective. This is the stuff musical dreams are made of.—MP

On first listen, I didn't take to this too much. I doubt it'll even hit my Top 40. Too poppy.

Up to #70 on Alternative..131 spins. It's currently the 20th biggest gainer, but I don't think that can last very long without more adds. Being played on 16 stations. Hopefully New York will pick up on it when the tickets for their show go on sale.

Thank you! There were still a few I hadn't heard, and they seem to be favorites. Turn is probably the biggest fan fave.
