I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about this on KNDD. I was shocked to learn they had "Shatterday" on their 2001 year-end chart. I remember I heard it a lot in early 2003, but of course, when it became a hit nationally, they rarely, if ever, played it. I think they were actually playing a different song that I don't even remember (don't know if it became an official follow-up single, though, or if they actually had one).

(don't know if it became an official follow-up single, though, or if they actually had one). I think "Seconds Away" was the second single, but I don't know how much of an impact it ever made anywhere. I can't wait for this new material. I've heard that the CD as a whole will tell a story from start to finish about a girl who is alone in a post apocalyptic world. I don't know how much truth there is to that description yet though. I have tickets to see them on their upcoming tour with Finch already and it would be nice to hear some of this new stuff before the show.

This is starting to slowly creep its way up. I would like to see this be the breakthrough for them. Anyone happen to know what Shatterday peaked at back a couple years ago?

Though, I don't know if many outside Seattle really remembers them for it. I've come to find this song pretty awesome. The way it just explodes in the chorus is great. I'd love to see this be another top 20 for them.
