Here's a better thread than the Kelly Osbourne one...
Finch is having a new album out on June 7th, 2005, titled Say Hello To Sunshine. Right now, the first single hasn't been announced yet. I can never wait for any new album to exist.

Look at the name of the subject, ydoucare. Look inside the topic. Looks like a Finch topic to me. :)

Look inside the topic. Looks like a Finch topic to me. :) And so does this, so how about everyone moves it along, k? :) The great thing about "What It Is To Burn" was that it was just absolutely packed with energy. It's a great song to drive to because once that intro gets going you just want to accelerate past 90 mph. But the best thing was that they managed it so effectively. I mean, the verses just lull you back before that riff kicks in at the chorus and just knocks you off your seat. So hopefully they can have similar success with whatever comes off this album.

Look at the name of the subject, ydoucare. www.queendom.com/tests/minitests/fx/humor.htmlIt was a nice Finch thread indeed. :) Back on topic, I agree with you 100% regarding "What it is to Burn." I still listen to that song quite often. :)

Geez, calm down, Joe. None of that was to be taken personally. We were all just giving you a hard time.
They have a new mp3 on their website titled "Brother Bleed Brother," but you have to register to hear it. I doubt it's gonna be their new single. Probably something like System of a Down did with "Cigaro."
Apparently another song called "Ink" is floating around, but when I clicked on the provided link, I got this message: "Sorry - Deep Linking to our songs and images is not allowed!"
So I listened to the old record in full for the first time yesterday. And while I thought it was real good, I didn't think it was "great" and I doubt I'll replace it with a real copy. Part of this is because too many of the songs made them sound like a jock-punk band (new term I just made up): Punk/emo bands I would consider jock-punk: New Found Glory, Story of the Year, Hoobastank (for the most part), most of the bands on Drive-Thru and probably Glassjaw, too, among others I can't come up with right now. Bands with at least one member who wears backwards ball caps, Abercrombie clothes, striped polo shirts, ankle socks, and cargo shorts onstage. For the most part, I want the major albums by these bands, but usually burned copies.
It's no wonder then, that my buddy I mentioned in the other Finch thread (before it was closed) opened up for Finch at one point. That was the style his band played and that's exactly the kinds of bands that are right up his alley.

Maybe Disturbed are about to align their release date with Finch's! ;)

The single's gonna be called "Bitemarks and Bloodstains," so maybe the title of this topic can be changed now. www.mtv.com/news/articles/1500077/20050413/finch.jhtml?headlines=trueAnd for the lazy, here's the tracklisting to Say Hello to Sunshine: "Insomniatic Meat" "Revelation: Song" "Brother Bleed Brother" "A Piece of Mind" "Ink" "Fireflies" "Hopeless Host" "Reduced to Teeth" "A Man Alone" "Miro" "Ravenous" "Bitemarks and Bloodstains" "The Casket of Roderic Usher" "Dreams of Psilocybin"

The single's gonna be called "Bitemarks and Bloodstains," so maybe the title of this topic can be changed now. That's a pretty good song. I don't care for it quite as much as "Brother Bleed Brother" or "Miro", but it's still a decent choice of single.

I'm excited about this, but Finch is the worst band I have ever seen perfrom live besides Train.

Their new song "Ink" is available to listen to on their website. Unsure if it's their first single or not. www.finchmusic.com/default.aspDecent from one listen. It should grow on me.

It's okay to me, but not as good as "Letters to You" (and definitely not as good as "WIITB").

I really like the music during the chorus, but i can do without the rest, it seems pretty boring compared to their other stuff.
