Recent events have prompted the staff to implement a policy whereby from this date forward the posting and requesting of links to download songs will no longer be allowed on PMB. It has gotten incredibly out-of-hand in recent weeks and is detracting from the discussion of music that this board was created to facilitate.
If you must trade song files, please do so through Private Messages, Email, Instant Messengers, etc. Links to streaming files are still perfectly fine, and we are prepared to continue allowing links to live performances, radio rips, rare unreleased tracks, etc. In compliance with the ProBoards terms of service, links to download songs that are or will be available for purchase will be deleted. Posting such a link or asking for one to be posted will result in a warning, and doing so repeatedly may result in a ban.
PMB is not a file sharing service and there are plenty of sites for finding music. Our goal is providing a forum for discussion. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the thread in Music News.
