As much as we're debating this, I think "Girl" will hit the top 40. It's #47 currently, but only 4 spins from #44. Throw in "Little Sister" and "Mr. Brightside" heading to recurrent-land in the next couple of weeks, and it doesn't need to gain that much more.

I must say I am delighted by where this song has gone in terms of airplay.
I figured this was more suited for Triple A and Hot AC, despite still being friendly enough for the format to succeed, and now he has back-to-back Top 10's! :)
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

And how the hell that happened, I have no idea, but I must say, the video has actually helped me raise my sentiment toward the song. It's pretty interesting to think that nobody ever thought of using those Mad Magazine fold-ins in a video. The result is obviously very cool, as is the case here.
By the way, the answer was Chumbawumba. "Tubthumping" hit #1, and "Amnesia" followed up by peaking at #43.

Beck's having a great era with Guero
it's good to see him enjoying commercial success again

I've grown to like this song, especially the "GameBoy-like" intro. It's becomg an inside joke between my brother and I, lol.

I'm definitely not feeling this song. Considering I hear it every day, that would mean I've heard it about 60 times so far. This one won't grow. Disappointing followup to "E-Pro", and I'm just NOT understanding why it's doing so well.

I'm guessing the last fold-in in the video, of the gap-toothed smile, is supposed to be a tip of the cap to Mad's mascot, Alfred E. Neuman.
