"Cold" peaked on the very first chart of the year. Had it peaked in 2004, it would have been the # 2 song of the year. Instead, it looks to become the second song to be # 1 for the year on Alternative without hitting # 1 (the first was "Interstate Love Song" in 1994).
By the way, the # 1 song of 2004, "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams", is still on the chart, and now has a point total of 419.
