02 03 02 Baby Boy Beyonce f/Sean Paul 41 15 2 6
08 01 01 Stand Jewel 52 15 37 1(2) 3 And Jewel makes it another week at #1... so far it's spent 1/3 the weeks at #1 as Intuition did... now the question is, can this do as well as Intuition did(17 weeks on the chart) The answer is: YES And this time, she becomes the 3rd video to block Beyonce from #1 again! The previous 2 were: "My Love Is Like...Wo", & "Stacy's Mom". Now if only this could impact VH1's top 20 already! Grrr;) Perhaps Beyonce is doing a Coldplay "The Scientist"?[which spent 4 weeks at #2 before finally hitting #1) Plus Jewel becomes the 4th straight video to spend 2 weeks at #1 in a row: previous 3: Stacy's Mom, My Love Is Like...Wo, & Why Can't I?
Droppers:
05 Why Can't I? Liz Phair, Peak #1 for 2 weeks, 12 weeks on chart :'(
09 Send Your Love Sting, Peak #3, 5 weeks on chart
Summary:
And as said above, Jewel rules the chart for a second week in a row with her colorful & saucy video for "Stand"... cause I agree that "Intuition" & "Stand" are far better than "Standing Still" & "Break Me" in terms of which is the better video Sadly the song isn't doing too well, but good to know the video's loved so much on Pulse ;) And besides Jewel, it's Beyonce who sazzles us again... I remember Crazy In Love & Intuition in the top 2 doing the old charts as well... nice to see deja vu happen again for these 2 ;) Beyonce has a new rival to play with... as she failed with Mya & Fountains Of Wayne, we'll see if she's able to get her #1 spot again... as "Crazy In Love" was atleast able to sneak a week at #1, unlike Baby Boy peaking at #2 3 different times Besides Beyonce's big booty, we have the novelty band Fountains Of Wayne only falling 1 spot to #3, making their drop run from #1: 1-2-3 Their 5th week on the chart & undoubtly they're a force to be reckoned with... And the mind still boggles me as to how that #4 was actually able to arrive ??? Besides that top debut, it looks like Evanescence & Outkast are reliving their positions from 2 weeks ago: as Going Under from the past 3 weeks has went 5-7-5 & Hey Ya 6-4-6... and besides that, Mandy Moore's Have A Little Faith In Me rises up 3 spots to #7! Great for her... nice little vid too... and Dido keeps remaining still as her voice normally does chill a person's soul for minutes & minutes as White Flag remains at #8 for a second week in a row... her chart run is: 3-4-10-8-8... so great little rebound stay for her :) Second debut is from Michelle Branch's Breathe... can this do as well as Are You Happy Now? which spent 5 weeks on the chart & peaked at #6... a really nice summery video imo And to end the chart again, Hilary Duff even though gaining 3 points from last week falls 4 spots to #10... this is her 4th non-consecutive week at #10... as Jewel is always one to top the chart, Hilary is always one to finish the sandwiching in the chart
