A new Jet album already? Wow. I hope it's not too soon.

Yes, it has been two years. When exactly will the new album be released? It seems like the band could get away with waiting just a little bit longer, since "Look What You've Done" is still getting decent radioplay, no?
I just worry when bands release albums close to the success of a recent single. Didn't "Fairweather Johnson" not do so well partly because of its proximity to "Cracked Rear View"? It also causes me wonder if the new material is mostly leftovers from the old album.

3 Doors Down released their latest album barely after "Away From The Sun" went recurrent at Hot AC, and they're doing just fine now.
I don't think Jet will be hurt here.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Very true. I was worried about 3 Doors Down for the same reason. Norah Jones' second album didn't have too many hit singles, did it? I was a bit concerned about Jet also because sophomore releases are sometimes difficult, what with following up on their great debut.

Jet is great! "Rollover DJ" is their best IMO... I agree that it is better to have a fair amount of downtime between albums, because that helps increase the hype when the new single/CD are released.

It also causes me wonder if the new material is mostly leftovers from the old album. Add to that the fact that Fairweather Johnson was essentially Cracked Rear View Part Two based on its sound, and the fact that its first single came out while the last single from CRV was still charting.[/font]

That song title is lame, as are half the Jet songs I've heard. (The middle two singles.)

Remember, "Look What You've Done" flew off the charts on Alt... this song might not even be HAC-friendly, and might be a rock-only thing. If that's the case, they have had plenty of time.
No adds date?

This sounds like a novelty song waiting to happen, especially due to that choice of a title.
The title alone makes me feel that this, as well as "We Are All On Drugs", may struggle to impact say Top 15 or so, which is a disappointment, considering I loved every one of Jet's four releases from Get Born.
The song would have to blow me away for me to like it. I hate to dislike a song simply for the title, but the title choice borders on obnoxious.

Not loving the title as like everyone on here has mentioned, but I'm always up for more Jet, I really thought their debut album was quality stuff.

So does anyone know who they sound like on this song? The title leads me to believe it's another AC/DC-Iggy Pop hybrid like "Are You Gonna Be My Girl". And yeah, it's really bleh.

I hope it's not another "Are You Gonna Be My Girl". That was the worst song on their last album.

3 Doors Down released their latest album barely after "Away From The Sun" went recurrent at Hot AC, and they're doing just fine now. Uh, one single that did well on Pop and HAC with sub-par performances (compared to their previous track record) on rock radio, and their second single which is only a Rock success, and 3DD are "fine"? OK...

Judging by the title and by Jet's track record, I'm almost positive that I won't like this.

OK... "The Road I'm On" didn't do any better for a second single off of "Away From The Sun" than their current second single is. Besides that, "Here By Me" is bound to hit big on mainstream Top 40 soon, so they are doing just fine. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

It wasn't from there. He made a topic in Announcements/Board Concerns about how people shouldn't trust Wikipedia for info such as this.
