This is the first single from the band that is the side project of Something Corporate lead singer Andrew McMahon.

It's kind of sad that a great emo song like this could barely (and I mean barely) scrape the top 50. Then again, emo other than Weezer isn't exactly kicking it these days, as Thrice and Story of the Year have disappointed with their latest albums.
On the other hand, though, this doesn't sound polished enough for radio airplay. It still has a rawness about it that might turn corporate off to it.

This really is a great song that I hate to see not do much on the charts since its release over the summer. It is going for adds at Pop later this month, so I hope it does something there. Andrew McMahon is one hell of a talented musician at such a young age, and it was great to see him overcome his leukemia.

And it only made the top 50 because 10 Years had fallen to recurrent (by rule) for one week.
I had neither any idea about Andrew's health issues nor the song's upcoming pop release. Power to him and best wishes for success on that other chart.
